Biciklom možemo nastaviti još do 22,3 km.

Hiking Routes

There is over 130 km of cultivated and marked hiking and mountaineering trails on the island of Lošinj. Lungomare promenades - easy hiking and mountaineering trails right next to the seaboard, along which you can tour the entire island of Lošinj. The trails near the town and hotels are paved. They are joined with less demanding mountaineering trails on the south of the island, which lead to isolated beaches.

They have numerous side - paths toward belvederes (Monte Baston) and peaks (Sv. Ivan). Monte Baston belvedere - in Mali Lošinj. The trails are easy, situated in Čikat park forest and connected with the Lungomare promenade. The belvedere offers a view of the town and harbor, and neighboring islands of Susak and Sakrane. Sv Ivan Mountain - the trails are medium - difficult, with a few less demanding climbs (from Veli Lošinj and Krivica Bay). It offers the ideal view of Veli Lošinj and the islands of Ilovik, Male Orjule and Vele Orjule.

They are joined with Lungomare promenades. You can access them directly from Mali Lošinj and Veli Lošinj. Osoršćica Mountian and Televrin peak (589 m), the highest point on Lošinj. The trails are ideal for demanding and experienced mountain climbers, and beginners yearning for some real mountaineering experience. From the peak, you can see the entire Lošinj archipelago, neighboring islands (Rab and Pag) and Istria.

You can access them from Osor, Nerezine and Ćunski. General instructions - The more difficult footpaths require wearing strong sports shoes or climbing boots. It is necessary to take water or fruit juice, particularly in the summer. The hundred-year-old stone walls should never be pulled down.Should a stone fall down, put it back in place. The wooden latticed gates should always be closed behind you. When you come across an animal, behave naturally, calm down and watch.

Follow the signs and do not use the paths without them. There are many unused footpaths on the island that are not suitable to take. Note - On the islands of the Cres-Lošinj archipelago there are no poisonous snakes.According to a legend these islands were blessed by St. Gaudentius, Bishop of Osor, and poisonous snakes were banished forever. As long as the scientists do not provide an explanation, let us believe the legend.
